Next up was our shower thrown by our moms. We enjoyed a fun afternoon by the pool, visiting, playing some hysterical games, and enjoying (you guessed it!) ice cream cake! It was great to catch up with people I hadn't seen in a while and hear everyone's predictions about Rookie. When guests arrived they placed diapers next to "boy" or "girl" signs to cast their official vote (see photo above--so evenly split!). They were also given a letter on their name-tag and they had to come up with baby names that began with that letter. We left with a lot of name ideas and some wonderful gifts for Rookie. Once again we were overwhelmed by everyone's generosity and excitement for Rookie!
